Window Replacement Review
We recently replaced all the windows on our 70-year-old home and chose Mainstream and we couldn’t be happier. We received bids from several companies, both locally owned companies like Mainstream and from some of the national companies that are household names. From the initial consultation to receiving the bid there was no comparison. Mainstream was the most knowledgeable, answered our questions, and provided suggestions for a few non-traditional windows. Spencer came with samples of the windows they had available and spent time walking us through the different features with each model. They started out by asking what we wanted to accomplish and went from there. We made it clear we were going to get bids from several and did not pressure us to decide right away. Installation was within the window they advised and done very professionally, with great communication, and with minimal disruption (we both work at home and this was impressive). A representative from Mainstream checked on the work in person each day through the installation process and we received a call from the Mainstream office to make sure things were going well and asking if we had any questions. The quality of the installation and the windows themselves are both top notch. Clean up and haul away of our old windows was thorough. We didn’t have so much as a spot of dust afterwards. The final walk through process was thorough and Tim identified a detail on one screen we didn’t even notice and took it with him and had it back the next day. Our house got a significant face lift while keeping the details we liked about having an older home. We’ve noticed our house is quieter and cooler. Looking forward to the differences we’ll notice this winter. I highly recommend Mainstream.
