If you had told my younger self that one day I’d lose my mind over new windows, I’d have laughed and gone back to blasting my cassette tapes. But here I am—middle-aged, thrilled beyond reason, and suddenly scheduling my afternoons around prime bird-watching hours.
Mainstream Home Improvement showed up like the well-oiled machine they are: clean, efficient, and apparently trained by some sort of Window Installation Ninja Academy. They worked so neatly I half expect them to start folding laundry and alphabetizing the pantry next.
Communication? Oh, bless them. Every detail was clear, concise, and repeated just enough for those of us whose brain filing systems are starting to look like a teenager’s bedroom. No confusion, no “Wait, what was that?”—just blissfully simple instructions and updates I could actually follow.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they handed me Old Towne cookies. Warm, perfect, life-changing. The windows brought me joy; the cookies cemented my loyalty forever.
In short: I now have a better view of my cardinals, a house that looks fantastic, and an overwhelming urge to bake something for the crew even though they clearly can’t be topped.
